SyncDub AI provides a Chrome extension that translates the audio of videos you watch in your browser in real time. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your data protection choices.
1. Account Information We Collect
When you sign in to SyncDub AI, we use Google Sign-In (OAuth) to authenticate you. Through this flow, we receive and store your name, email address, and a unique Google account identifier. We never see, access, or store your Google password.
2. Translation Credits & Usage Logs
To manage credit packaging and prevent service abuse, our database logs the total number of translation minutes utilized by your account. These logs contain the duration of translation requests and your remaining balance, but we never log the URLs, titles, or transcription contents of the videos you watch.
3. Real-Time Audio Data Handling
API Stream Transmission
When you activate translation on a video, the extension captures audio frames via the Web Audio API and streams them as raw 16kHz PCM mono chunks to our proxy server, which relays them immediately to the SyncDub AI. This audio stream is processed strictly in-memory to generate the voice synthesis track.
SyncDub AI does not permanently store, log, or cache your video audio on our database. Once the translation response is transmitted to your browser, the temporary in-memory frames are permanently discarded.
4. Secure Payment Processing
All transactions for credit packs are handled by Razorpay, a certified PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. SyncDub AI does not capture, store, or process your credit card numbers, bank details, or UPI credentials. Razorpay securely manages checkout authorization and sends our server only a success notification containing the transaction ID, pack name, and amount.
5. User Control & Deletion Rights
You have complete control over your data. At any time, you can request the permanent deletion of your SyncDub AI account, associated usage history, and credit records. To initiate a deletion request, contact our team at support@syncdub.ai.
